WordPress Plugins

The snowfall effect created by this plugin will be affected by your mouse which acts as ‘wind’. Try moving your mouse left and right and see the different. Anyway, you can customize your snow properties like max number of snowflakes, wind effect, melt effect and more in admin panel. Let’s Let It Snow! (This is what I’m using now :) )
WP Snow Effect

The difference with this plugin is that the snowflakes created will be automatically dissolved during a quarter of the way down from top of your page. This will suit you if you don’t want the snowflakes run into your content.
WordPress Falling Snow

This plugin won’t create a full page snow fall effect on your site. Instead, it allows you to add snow fall effect on specific image or banner. You have an option to display your snow fall in 2D or 3D effect. Once you apply the snow fall effect on your images, it will become a flash.
Snow, balloons and more

Apart from snow falls, you can also create falling leaves effect, flying balloons effect or etc through this plugin. This plugin give you a lot of options to configure, you may even add your own falling object.

This plugin is pretty similar to Let It Snow plugin. Once activated, there will have snow fall from your top of website and blog.
Non-WordPress Plugins

The exciting part of this plugin is you’re able to COLLECT your snowflakes. Since it uses HTML5 canvas so the snow won’t be collected in IE8 or lower but the snowfall effect will be remain.
Snowstorm

This snowfall effect is same as Snow Storm WordPress plugin but not in Javascript-driven. You’re able to adjust the snow speed, the amount of snow, the ‘wind’, ‘melt’ effect and a lot more from this plugin.
